Slayer’s Playing Hershey, Pennsylvania with Exodus, Suicidal Tendencies, Cavalera, and More
This past Friday, the internet was at least temporarily set ablaze when Slayer teased something by posting an animation of some Hershey kisses in a circle pit. I was hoping for some thrash metal confectionaries, but that’s not what’s happening. In hindsight, it makes way more sense that it was the other option — Slayer was planning a show in Hershey, Pennsylvania — and that’s exactly what we learned this morning.
Announces as a one-night-only show, the headlining performance is the band’s only east coast gig to date, with the band slated to play the 30,000 seat Hersheypark Stadium on Saturday, September 20, 2025.
In addition to Slayer’s set, the band will be supported by Knocked Loose, Suicidal Tendencies, Power Trip, Cavalera (performing Chaos A.D.), and Exodus (performing Bonded by Blood). Talk about a wild, multi-generational showcase of heavy music.
The whole show will be hosted by WWE superstar Damian Priest, a dude whose finishing move is the South of Heaven and whose entrance music features guitar work by Kerry King.
Ticket pre-sales for the show will kick off tomorrow at 10 a.m. EST, with the general public getting a crack at the tickets this Friday at the same time.
This show is in addition to the already announced shows Slayer’s got on its docket for 2025. You can find the full list of available shows below.
