European Clutch Fans Will Be the First to Hear New Material During Upcoming Tour
There’s been almost too much talk about Clutch‘s new record and the timeline they’ve set for themselves in order to get it done. I’m hyped for new Clutch. You’re probably hyped for new Clutch. And if you’re a Clutch fan that’s hyped for new Clutch and you’re going to see Clutch on their upcoming ‘Fortune Tellers Make a Killing Nowadays’ Tour, then you’re gonna get to hear some new Clutch, baby.
The announcement was made this afternoon as Clutch drummer Jean-Paul Gaster stood out in a wooded area and revealed that each stop along the upcoming run of European shows would have a completely different setlist. Not only that, but they’d be working in some new material into each set, so if you attend multiple shows, you’ll get completely different experiences.
The band had initially considered playing the entirety of their self-titled album, but Gaster said they ultimately opted to scrap those plans and do something different. Having seen Clutch multiple times myself, I can almost promise you they’ll still play a tune or two from the self-titled album — probably some banger like “Texan Book of the Dead” or “Escape From The Prison Planet”. You know, songs that fucking kill on stage.
Set to kick off on November 24, 2025 in Copenhagen, Denmark and coming to a close on December 20 in London, the tour will make stops in some other key European cities like Berlin, Stockholm, and Paris. You can find the full list of dates and venues below.
