Sum 41 Share Official Farewell Music Video for “Radio Silence”
This week pop-punk icons Sum 41 are riding off the back off an incredible achievement, as they were newly inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame at the 2025 Juno Awards. Earlier this year, the band concluded their farewell Tour of the Setting Sum in Toronto following the release of their last ever album Heaven :x: Hell.
To coincide with their induction, Sum 41 played together for one last time at the 54th Annual JUNO Awards in Vancouver.
Today is a special and rather heartbreaking moment, as the band has shared what is their final music video ever, for “Radio Silence.” And yes, while you might be thinking, this all seems to be a very long stretch of a ‘farewell tour‘ we ask you, in the history of rock music, when has a band’s final moments every been short lived?
Sum 41’s credited 30 year legacy in the pop-punk world is one we can never forget. Joining notable bands such as Green Day and Blink 182 during the rise of the scene in the lats 90s, it’s fair to say that Sum 41 are without a doubt a trademark and one of the few pioneers of this scene.
The “Radio Silence” music video was directed and edited by Ravi Dhar and is a sentimental offering showing nostalgic clips of old Sum 41 live shows and BTS footage. If you didn’t start the video already crying, we can guarantee you might by the end of it.
Speaking about the video, the band shared to their Instagram:
“As the Sum quietly set Sunday night, we wanted to leave you with something special to show our appreciation for all of the love that you have shown us over the years. We present you with the final Sum 41 music video. Watch “Radio Silence” now at youtube.com/sum41.”
