Bloodstock Festival Launches Reserved Camping

0

Camping is arguably the most stressful part of festivals. Trying to find the perfect place to set up your tent: aka close to friends, near-ish to the toilets, but not so close that you can smell them… Unless you’re naturally an outdoorsy person, camping can be similar to fresh hell.

With this in mind, Bloodstock have today announced a system that might just save you a whole lot of stress on the day you get to the festival. Dubbed ‘reserved camping’, the new system granting you the option to scout the festival grounds before you get there and reserve the perfect place to set up.

Bloodstock officially commences at Catton Park, Derbyshire, UK, between August 7 -10. All reserved camping tickets will be available here from May 6. Customers can book allocated slots for themselves and up to five other friends, with selections made by squares: one square per tent. Once reservations have been made, pitches will be marked with a matching letter and number grid system, using hedgehog-friendly paint outlines, (how adorable is that).

There will be an official three-tier system when booking. The gold tier of reserved camping will give people the option to set up their tents either closest to the campsite entrances, nearest the showers or food stands. Gazebos are also an optional add-on for an extra fee, however, spaces for these are limited and will be on a first come, first serve basis.

In case you missed it, this year’s Bloodstock lineup is absolutely insane and features headline performances from Trivum, Machine Head and Gojira.
