Disturbed Feel “Very Sentimental” About The Sickness Anniversary Tour

0

For the last two months, Disturbed has been touring the U.S. in celebration of their debut studio album The Sickness. The album turned 25 earlier this month, with major tracks, including “Down with the Sickness” and “Stupify”, standing out as critically-acclaimed hits in the nu-metal world.

Despite all the fame, the boys are keeping things humble. They recently spoke about what this anniversary means to them. Guitarist Dan  Donegan told Live Nation:

“It’s very therapeutic for us. All these songs, they’re all personal, they all mean something, and a majority of the songs try to spin positivity into it, even if it’s a dark subject or a breakup. It’s overcoming those tough times in life. So it’s helpful for not just us, but luckily the fans too.

“We still have our moments where we have to pinch ourselves that this career has been going as well as it has for this long. Good times.”

Live Nation also shared a collaborative post with Disturbed, featuring a snippet of the bands Youtube video on the memories this album has brought them and the fans its gathered all these years.

Disturbed wrote underneath the post:

“It has been amazing performing The Sickness in its entirety & feeding off the energy from our new song ‘I Will Not Break.’ This tour has been a blast, and we’re excited to kick off Leg 2 tomorrow with @daughtry & @nothingmoremusic! Disturbed Ones, Are You Ready?! We are.”

Following their US tour dates, Disturbed will also embark on a UK and Europeon tour, featuring support from noneother than thrash metal legends Megadeth.
