Chevelle Debut First New Single in Four Years, Announce Headlining Tour

0

Earlier this morning, Chevelle broke a four year silence with the release of their new single “Rabbit Hole (Cowards, Pt. 1) and its accompanying lyric video. In addition to that drop, the band announced that they’ll be hitting up North America this summer with Asking Alexandria and Dead Poet Society.

The track itself is fairly standard hard rock/alt metal fare. It’s got riffs, it’s got lyrics calling out the charlatans in government/the leading class, and I’m sure it’ll kill on rock radio around the country. There’s no news about this being attached to a new album or anything, but I wouldn’t doubt that’s coming next in the near future.

Speaking of the track, Chevelle said it’s sort of like an audio version of everyone’s favorite hobby — surfing aimlessly on social media.

“How about we all put on our tinfoil hats, slam a Dunkies, and go deep doomscrolling. If that sounds like your sorta thing, we’ve got a new song for you called ‘Rabbit Hole (Cowards, Pt. 1). Enjoy.”

You can check the track out in the clip down below. Additionally, they confirmed their headlining tour with Asking Alexandria and Dead Poet Society as openers. Set to kick off on August 7 in San Antonio, Texas, the tour will run until October 2 in Airway Heights, Washington. They’ve also got plans to hit the North American festival circuit.
