Bury Tomorrow Want John Cena to Use Their Music for His WWE Entrance

Earlier this week, UK metalcore outfit Bury Tomorrow shared online that they want professional WWE wrestler John Cena to walk out to one of their songs.

The band shared a series of clips, re-imagining what this scenario might look like, writing “This should be John Cena’s new theme song,” soundtracked by their heavy-hitting release “Villian Arc.”

After a long-standing career as the ‘good-guy’ type wrestler known as a “babyface”, Cena has recently made the transition into his villain era as a “heel” by siding with The Rock against current WWE Champ Cody Rhodes. At least until WrestleMania 41 takes place on April 19 and 20, anyway. Following this news, Bury Tomorrow are keen for the pro wrestler to use one of their new and upcoming singles as his entrance song.

There’s no denying that Cena is known for his charismatic walkouts, and heavy music is no stranger in the world of WWE. Famously, the Road Warriors used Black Sabbath’s “Iron Man” in 1994, Bray Wyatt utilized music by Code Orange up until his passing, and Triple H continues to use Motörhead’s “The Game”, which the band performed live at WrestleMania 21. Bury Tomorrow could be onto something great with this one…

On May 16, the band is set to release their brand-new album, Will You Haunt Me With That Same Patience, out via Music for Nations. Alongside their North American live dates this April, the band will embark on a UK tour to coincide with their upcoming album release.

Pre-order Will You Haunt Me With That Same Patience here.
