Alien Weaponry’s Single “Taniwha” Includes a Killer Guest Spot by Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe
With their forthcoming album Te Rā set to release this Friday, Alien Weaponry saved perhaps their biggest salvo for last, as their final pre-release single “Taniwha” features a guest vocal spot by none other than the mighty Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe.
According to the band, landing this kind of collaboration for this album was a dream come true.
“Lamb of God played a significant role in making Alien Weaponry what it is today and this collaboration with Randy Blythe feels like one of those ‘pinch yourself’ moments that our teenage selves would never believe possible. Randy’s lyricism and vocal expertise was an amazing addition to this song and we are beyond stoked to share this song/milestone with the world.”
As expected, the new track is a hard hitter, with enough groove to get you banging your head and enough technical skill to keep your ears engaged. Even if you can’t speak Māori, you can find something to appreciate in this powder keg of a track.
Te Rā will be released on March 28, but you can preorder your copy today.
