Gel’s Streaming Accounts Got Hacked With Some Fake Ass AI Song

What in the world is going on? AI has fucked up many things in many ways, but this just seems like a waste of time. Gel, the New Jersey hardcore band that JUST broke up, is back in the spotlight again, this time thanks to the hackers that just do shit for the fuck of it.

For whatever reason, Gel’s Apple, Spotify, and other accounts were hacked, and a phony song called “Gooners” was uploaded in their name. It’s not their song, so don’t come for them. At least, not for this.

Gel just broke up due to their former guitarist Anthony Webster doing some shady shit and embezzling money for “a truly unbelievable number of OnlyFans purchases and mysterious CashApp transactions.” He also nonconsensually shared nudes of his band members, so he just fuckin sucks all around.

We should also note that there have also now been allegations against the band’s former singer Sami, which hasn’t necessarily helped keep them out of our mouths. For the sake of what we’re talking about at hand though, is this AI song. I didn’t listen to the lyrics (because what would be the point?), but I did notice what the cover art of choice was. It’s in poor taste, depicting Zulu (who have been dealing with their own abuser shit) as one of the Twin Towers on 9/11, with Gel being the plane that’s about to strike. Good grief.

As of right now, the song is still streamable. Go listen to it if you want to I guess.
