Sh*t That Comes Out Today: March 21, 2025
Now we’re talkin’! This week’s got some great releases, so I’m not gonna waste your time with some silly little thing about how it’s finally getting nice out again or baseball season being around the corner. Just find you some new metal to enjoy and have fun!
Bloodywood
Nu Delhi (Fearless Records)
Coming at ya with their sophomore album, Bloodywood continue to infuse their Indian heritage into the groove-laden metal that’s become their specialty. It’s unabashed nu metal mixed with traditional Indian instruments and that’s super fuckin’ cool to see. Once again — metal is for everyone.

Bodybox
3 (Maggot Stomp)
There’s nothing but unadulterated brutal death metal hardcore insanity in this one. This debut album is chock full o’ fight music for dudes getting high on bath salts in the swampy parts of Florida.

Cabal
Everything Rots (Nuclear Blast)
This Danish deathcore act is heavy and uncompromising in their attack. Combining elements of death metal, metallic hardcore, metalcore… you’ve got a truly furious and chaotic fourth full-length effort.

Cradle of Filth
The Screaming Of The Valkyries (Napalm Records)
It’s been a long time coming, but Cradle of Filth are back with some truly epic gothic metal. Jesus is still a cunt and all that jazz, but WHERE THE FUCK IS MY CRADLE OF FILTH/ED SHEERAN COLLAB, DANI?!

Imperial Triumphant
Goldstar (Century Media)
When you crack open its ribs and stare at the beating heart of Imperial Triumphant, you’re sure to see black metal coursing through its veins, but Goldstar is proof that deep down, there’s a spirit that wants to break free of traditional genre descriptors. They’ve grown beyond that, so sure you could call them jazz-styled black metal or jazz-infused death metal or whatever you want to say. Goldstar proves that Imperial Triumphant are almost playing a different game entirely and we’re just along for the ride.
