Havok to Replace Possessed on That Exodus Tour Because of “Medical Issues and Limitations”
The revolving door on that ‘Swarm of Horrors’ Tour headlined by Exodus continues to spin. Earlier this week, Deicide dropped off the tour due to “scheduling conflicts,” then tons of eyebrows were raised when death metal outfit Possessed were chosen to fill in that void. Now, due to what’s being described as “recent medical issues and limitations,” Possessed were dropped from the lineup and now Havok’s taking their place.
Now, could there be some actual health issues causing this lineup change? Absolutely. Possessed frontman Jeff Becerra is is wheelchair bound and surely there are limitations regarding his paralysis that would make touring a bit difficult.
…But then you remember that Becerra’s been the subject of some pretty heinous allegations involving allegedly soliciting nude photos from a 16-year-old girl. Though he vehemently denied those allegations, people online didn’t forget, as the announcement that Possessed was now on the bill was met with scores of comments about Becerra and the teen.
With Havok now on the bill, people are once again commenting and expressing their pleasure in equal parts over that band being on the bill and Possessed no longer being involved.
