Acid Bath and Blood Incantation to Headline Decibel Magazine’s Metal & Beer Fest: Denver
What goes better than metal and beer? Not a whole lot, really but I’d venture to say headlining sets by both Acid Bath and Blood Incantation come close. And luckily that’s exactly what this year’s iteration of Decibel Magazine‘s Metal & Beer Fest: Denver will have when shit goes down this December.
Set to take place on December 5 and 6, the two-day festival is actually moving to the Fillmore Auditorium for this year’s action. And while the full lineup hasn’t been announced just yet, getting to know that the top of the bill will be populated by heavy hitters like Acid Bath and Blood Incantation is pretty damn exciting. In fact, this will be Acid Bath’s first show in the Mile High City in more than 30 years, while it’s been two years since Blood Incantation played on their own home turf.
Though organizers say the rest of the band lineup will be coming out in the coming weeks and months, they’re going to start offering two- and three-day passes this Friday, the latter of which will give attendees a chance to attend a special pre-fest show at Ratio Beerworks (the Larimer Street location) on December 4.
If you don’t want to wait until Friday to get your passes though, you can start grabbing those suckers at 11 a.m. MT using the following information:
- Acid Bath pre-sale begins Wednesday, March 19 at 11am MT (use code: COLDSKY)
- Blood Incantation pre-sale begins Wednesday, March 19 at 11am MT (use code: CONCENTRATE)
- Decibel pre-sale begins Thursday, March 20 at 10am MT (use code: FUNKY)
- Ticketmaster pre-sale begins Thursday, March 20 at 10am MT (use code: BEATBOX)
- KBPI pre-sale begins Thursday, March 20 at 10am MT (use code: KBPI)
Depending on how into the beer side of things you want to be, they will have “Just Metal” tickets that don’t come with any beer samples (though you can still buy beers if you’re 21 or older) and the “Metal & Beer” tickets that get you “unlimited” samples from the various breweries at the festival.
So yeah, you likely won’t want to miss out on this because Decibel doesn’t miss with their gigs. Get your tickets ASAP.
