Turns Out Conor McGregor’s a Limp Bizkit Fan and Honestly That Tracks
Never thought this would be a sentence I’d ever write up, but apparently Limp Bizkit fans and UFC fighter Conor McGregor have a lot more in common than initially thought. Sure, they both can cause a scene in public. Yes, they often think they’re badasses so they’re prone to “Break Stuff” and engage in fistfighting from time to time.
What I do know is that the former UFC champion and dude who had to pay €250,000 (roughly $257,000) because he allegedly “brutally raped and battered” a woman is apparently a big Limp Bizkit fan. Prior to tonight’s Limp Bizkit show in Dublin, McGregor took to Instagram to warn concertgoers that he’d be at the 3Arena and waiting “bang in the centre of the mosh-pit” for anyone “looking for their jaw broke and their teeth sent.”
The purveyor of pretty mediocre Irish whiskey quickly received responses online, with some saying threatening actual physical harm to people in a mosh pit was “bad mosh pit etiquette,” while others just wondered what it’d be like to see an actual UFC fighter in the pit.
Even Fred Durst himself got in on the commentary, suggesting that he and Conor “have a go at a slow dance while we’re at it.”
It remains to be seen if “Notorious” Conor McGregor actually makes it to the show and rubs elbows with the common folk in the pit. It would certainly make for some interesting video if he did.
