Spineshank Reveal Festival Spots and Tour for 25th Anniversary of ‘The Height of Callousness’
Nu metal nostalgia is a hell of a drug, man. Case and point is the newly announced Spineshank reunion tour dates coming up this summer. Not only will the band be hitting various festivals across the U.S. like Inkcarceration and Aftershock, but they’ve got a co-headlining run with The Union Underground slated for this summer that’s aimed at commemorating 25 years of The Height of Callousness.
Set to kick off on July 9 in Lubbock, Texas and coming to a close at Aftershock in Sacramento, California on October 5, Spineshank will be on the road peddling their pre-9/11 nostalgia trip.
With an eye on the tour ahead, founding drummer Tommy Decker said he was excited to revisit the album that put the band on the map all those years ago.
“We are beyond excited to be able to celebrate 25 years of The Height of Callousness. This is the record that defined us as a band and changed our lives. We can’t wait to play all of these songs and share the memories with all of you who lived it with us.”
Though they’ve recently reunited, Spineshank is comprised of original members vocalist Jonny Santos; drummer Tommy Decker; and bassist Rob Garcia, with guitarists Tommy Decker, Jr. and Jason Hager (Years of Fire, ex-Chimaira) rounding out the roster.
