Peeling Flesh Got Some Unexpected Exposure Thanks to DJ Marshmello

Of course I know most raves aren’t packed to the gills with vampires just waiting for the fire suppression system to bathe them in blood, but I’m thinking of the general ambiance…
What I definitely wouldn’t expect though is for a celebrity DJ like DJ Marshmallo to decide to start playing a song by slam band Peeling Flesh. Though now that I said that, Peeling Flesh would be the perfect music to watch a daywalker version of Wesley Snipes cut his way through zombies in said bloody rave…
The nod to Peeling Flesh happened during one of Marshmallo’s recent European shows. As you can see int the second to last slide on the Instagram post below, shit went absolutely insane when he dropped the track. We’re talking massive light show, pyro… the whole nine. And it seems like the whole crowd was into it. Like, I don’t know many metalheads that wouldn’t lose their shit if they saw this in person.
The clip was shared to highlight a collaboration “ID” with NIMDA, Svdden Death, and YVM3. The even better part about all this was that the clip was posted to Marshmallo’s nearly 30 million Instagram followers.
Metal, man. It’s for the masses.
