Signs of the Swarm Have Wrapped Their New Album and Everyone Who’s Heard It Is Crapping Themselves

Pittsburgh deathcore act Signs of the Swarm are apparently done with their sixth album, and the people who worked on it or heard early copies have some … hyperbolically positive things to say about it. Apparently this album is going to be the best thing since the invention of sex, herald the second coming, and end the need for any further recorded music in the future.

The band posted on Twitter yesterday that they were back from the studio, writing:

“Got home yesterday from the studio, and it seems our team is excited for what we made ???? Pick the track number you think we’d play ????

“Maybe we’ll play a new one on our tour with [Chelsea Grin], [Shadow of Intent] and Disembodied Tyrant? ???? Click tweet 2/2 for dates!”

Then they posted some reviews from their team. It started off mild with the band’s own vocalist David Simonich who said:

“Listened to the new record for the first time start to finish today. Very satisfied.”

Then came the comment from booking and marketing guy Daniel DeFonce who said:

“I’ve listened to the record 5 times today. This band just created an album that no other band in this genre can even imagine.”

Then came Josh Schroeder, a producer and engineer who has worked with the band in the past, who wrote:

“new Signs of the Swarm record is done, and totally insane. Nobody is making music like these guys are. Very proud to have been a part of the process. Love these guys with all my heart.”

I mean, no offense, I’m sure it’s a good album but, like, maybe calm down. Regardless, fans can look forward to hearing this apparent orgasm in the form of a deathcore album pretty soon.
