Panopticon Will Play All of ‘Autumn Eternal’ at Fire In The Mountains, Final Lineup Announced
The final lineup for the highly anticipated Fire In The Mountains Festival was released and damn it, they’ve managed to round out an incredibly impressive package of killer bands set to play one of the more unique events of the year.
Organizers earlier today revealed that none other than Minnesota black metal act Panopticon would be joining the likes of Old Mans Child and Converge. Not only that, but they’d be playing the entirety of Autumn Eternal during their set.
The festival will also have Inter Arma on hand for the event, playing their first show in Montana in more than a dozen years. Finally, New Mexico’s own Lilith will bring their brand of post-doom to the festival.
Organizers said today’s additions make for a lineup that no one in attendance will forget.
“For our first year on the beautiful grounds of the Red Eagle Campground, it was important to us that we brought an array of artists that not only excite us – and we hope many of you who are looking to join us – but that we invite artists who care about what this festival is and has the potential to be.
“This July, we will all experience something together, and there will be so much to remember. Not the least of that will be the high level performances of so many special artists that we are proud to partner with. We cannot wait to revel in every bit of it. We will see you in the mountains.”
Taking place from July 25 to 27 next year, the festival is centered around community, music, and the natural world. It should be noted that the festival is taking place at the Red Eagle Campground in Glacier, Montana in partnership with the Blackfeet Nation. Given the fact that the festival is so intimately intertwined with the indigenous population, it’s got the unique chance of being something more than just an open-air metal festival.
In addition to the list of bands, the festival will feature a number of exciting experiences in front of the Rocky Mountains, in the pursuit of art, education, food, workshops, social responsibility, and adventure.
It’s also important to note that since the festival is taking place on Blackfeet Nation land, the festival is a completely dry event. That means no booze, drugs, or any other intoxicants. You can purchase your tickets today.
