Attila’s Chris Fronzak Takes Shots at Oceano Over Admat Controversy
This is the controversy that just keeps on going and now we’ve got Attila frontman Chris Fronzak injecting himself into the mix. He’s definitely a tool, as evidenced by a few of our past headlines on the dude ranging from “Attila’s Chris Fronzak, Accused of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor, Issues Response” to the less incriminating but still douchey “Attila’s Chris Fronzak Wants You to Know He Bought a Lambo.” What’s going on with Oceano frontman Adam Warren lately is trivial by comparison. Still, that hasn’t stopped Fronzak from taking potshots at Warren and Oceano over their tour flier controversy.
You’ll remember that Oceano’s breakup came about because of the fact that they booked themselves on a tour with Attila, who have two members that have been accused of sexual misconduct in the past, and Dealer, who has one member currently accused of sexual misconduct. Warren got tired of being criticized, dropped off the tour, and then announced he was packing up the band for good.
Then in the past week, more controversy emerged as an artist accused Oceano of using his art for their admat for their farewell tour without crediting him. Well, Fronzak weighed in on the admat controversy on Twitter, demonstrating that he still has some bitterness towards Oceano for dropping off his tour. He wrote:
“Usually when you’re in a band you wanna ‘go out with a bang’. Looks like Oceano wanted to go out with a ‘shit in my pants’.”
Oof…
But what’s worse is what he tweeted after that in response to user @Blackened923975 who said:
“I don’t get why these bands let weirdo liberal people on twitter dictate the band choices . Look at the shows Attila , Slaughter To Prevail , Dance Gavin Dance , Falling In Reverse ect. The shows are always crazy packed and sold out . The internet does not reflect reality.”
To which Fronzak responded:
“EXACTLY. Twitter is not real life, far from it. The shit people say on here has absolutely zero affect on my life and how many tickets I will sell for our upcoming tour.”
And the worst part of that statement? It’s that he’s correct. Despite all the controversies that erupt surrounding these bands, people continue to listen to their music, go to their shows, and support them.
