Cradle of Filth’s “To Live Deliciously” Video Has a Nun Who Probably Ruins a Lot of Chairs
That headline will make way more sense if you watch the music video released by Cradle of Filth for the previously released track “To Live Deliciously” off their forthcoming album The Screaming of the Valkyries.
With just a little over a month left before it’s in the hands of fans everywhere, you’ve likely already heard the song. But the visuals applied to it in this latest clip are… well, they’re predictably equal parts gross, sex-fueled, and “Satanic”.
Speaking of the video, Cradle of Filth frontman Dani Filth said the clip was made as a sort of commentary on religious restraint. You know, by showing a demonically possessed nun and priest get freaky-deaky.
“An observation on religious restraint as well as being a window to tout a bit of blasphemous filth, the video for ‘To Live Deliciously’ (our second from the new album) is a pleasant social engagement betwixt a pious young nun and her mentor priest.
“Just with a smattering of demonic possession and sexual misconduct added for good stock.”
The Screaming Of The Valkyries will be released on March 21 via Napalm Records, but you can preorder your copy today.
