Disturbed Threaten New Song Due Out Friday Called “I Will Not Break”
Break out the earplugs, because everyone’s favorite band to hate are finally about to make good on their threat to unleash new music on a public that did nothing to deserve such punishment. Disturbed started teasing a new song on Instagram this morning with the vague title “I Will Not Break” which is scheduled to be released on Friday. It was at least nice of them to warn us in advance. The Instagram post shows footage of the band in the studio and gives us a few seconds of extremely generic guitar riffs as a preview of what’s to come.
Blabbermouth reports that the new song is to be helmed by Drew Fulk, the producer who previously worked on Disturbed’s previous album, 2022’s Divisive. Fulk’s other credits include Lil Wayne, Lil Peep, Papa Roach, and even good artists like Knocked Loose.
There’s no word yet on whether this single is part of a larger album, but considering it’s been three years since the release of Divisive, a new album would follow the band’s pattern of releasing a new album approximately every three or four years. So brace yourself, as it seems like new Disturbed music is coming.
Meanwhile, their 25th anniversary edition of The Sickness is due out on March 7, and the band will soon be heading out on tour with Three Days Grace and Sevendust. So, for those who don’t value their eardrums, here’s the dates to catch them on tour:
