PowerGlove, Glyph, Owlbear and More Announced for Mile High Power Fest

I don’t think I’ve ever seen the phrase “cosplay encouraged” in a metal festival announcement, but there’s a first time for everything and that particular one came in the form of today’s Mile High Power Fest announcement.

Set to take place on August 16 at The Oriental Theater (The O) in Denver, Colorado, the show is being billed a a big ass love letter to power metal. As such, they’ve announced that for the show’s fest’s second iteration, they’ve got PowerGlove, Glyph, Owlbear, Empress, Lycanthro, Celestial Wizard, Oak Ash & Thorn, Viperwitch, and Signs of Tranquility on the bill.

Speaking of the festival and what organizers learned after last year’s debut showing, festival co-founder Lucyfer of BiteSize Productions said attendees at this year’s event should expect an even better show.
