Check Out Imperial Triumphant’s “Pleasuredome” Featuring Dave Lombardo and Meshuggah’s Tomas Haake

0

Roughly a month ago, avant-garde black metal trio Imperial Triumphant outlined the details about their forthcoming album Goldstar with the release of its single “Lexington Delirium”. Well, today we’re getting yet another crack at that forthcoming album with the release of its latest single “Pleasuredome.”

Just as in their previous single, Imperial Triumphant have tapped Meshuggah’s Tomas Haake to add to the sonic layers that the masked trio laid down on the track. But they weren’t done there, as “Pleasuredome” also features the legendary drumming skills of one Dave Lombardo, formerly of Slayer.

Speaking of the track, the band say it’s all one big hedonistic statement, which makes sense with a name like “Pleasuredome.”

“Journey into sensuality and primal desire, where the flesh becomes a temple, and the hunt for passion unfolds like an ancient ritual. The ‘bell rings out,’ a summoning call to transcend ordinary pleasures and enter the Pleasuredome, a place where the divine and the animalistic merge.”

Goldstar is coming out on March 21 via Century Media Records, but you can preorder your copy today. You can also check out the long list of tour dates they’ve got coming up on The Decibel Magazine Tour.
