Despised Icon Might Tour This Year and Release New Music

Y’all. I’m so hyped on this. Despised Icon have been constant in deathcore and in my heart forever and they may just be coming back. I know I’m not the only one that’s been wishing for an icon of the despised variety, and after a while of fans such as myself bothering them, they’ve given us a response.

Is it a clear response? With definitive answers and info? Not really, but it does kind of let us know what has been and might continue to happen since their last album Purgatory. Here’s their statement on the matter:

“We want to thank you guys for all your great responses on who we should tour with and where we should play! It’s tough for us to get back to everyone individually, but we’re paying attention, and we’re working on delivering some of these promises this year.

“Also, just letting you guys know that we’re working on some new music. It has taken us quite a bit of time, but we’re making good progress and we’re stoked on it!”

Okay so yeah they didn’t really tell us a lot but at least we know something is on the way. I can live with that, I guess.
