Experience Meshuggah’s Crushing Live Show Through Their “Ligature Marks” Video
Ever listened to a Meshuggah song or album and wondered to yourself what it would be like to go to one of their shows? You could always wait to see ’em come to a venue near you and shell out your hard earned cash to attend, but thanks to the release of their music video for “Ligature Marks”, you can just watch that and get an idea. (Though you should absolutely see them live, too…)
Released today in conjunction with the announcement that the band will be re-releasing the 2022 album Immutable in a remastered version called the Indelible Edition, the video features performance footage that really captures the essence of what makes a Meshuggah show so fucking awesome.
As for the album’s re-release, Immutable — The Indelible Edition will feature a much more aurally defined version of the record, as well as three live tracks recorded during the band’s 2023 and 2024 shows. In all, this version of the album will be released on April 4 via Reigning Phoenix Music.
