Arch Enemy Uncage Their New Single “Paper Tiger”
A little more than a month remains before Swedish extreme metal act Arch Enemy drop their 12th full-length studio effort Blood Dynasty, so it was only a matter of time before we got to hear another cut off the record. This time around, the band dropped the fourth and final single off the album, “Paper Tiger”.
Featuring an almost traditional heavy metal sound that feels very Judas Priest-esque at points, the track’s a galloping affair that’s sure to get people’s heads banging. Is it similar to the band’s previous output? Not totally, but founder and guitarist Michael Amott said the song is one of his favorite to play.
“With Blood Dynasty almost here, we thought we’d sneak in another single for you. ‘Paper Tiger’ is a personal favorite — these riffs are so much fun to play. The accompanying video was shot on a German airfield last summer with our visionary friend Mumpi. Turn it up and let it roar!”
