Venamoris Rain Down Some “Truth” Ahead of Their Album Release Later This Month
Just in time for Valentine’s Day, ex-Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo and his wife Paula have dropped a new single as their duo music act Venamoris that’s sure to tantalize the lover in all of you. “Truth” is the couple’s final single drop before the album’s release on February 28.
Featuring a dark, sultry, almost trip-hop-esque sound, this track feels equal parts melancholic and steamy. It’s got an almost lo-fi filter over the whole thing that gives it an detached feeling in a way, despite the intimate nature of the song. Speaking of the track and its lyrical content, Paula said it’s all about the things that don’t go right in life and love.
