Spineshank Announce Reunion for Louder Than Life Festival

It’s been over 12 years since the release of Spineshank’s final album Anger Denial Acceptance and the subsequent end of the California nu-metal act. So what comes after anger, denial, and acceptance? Apparently, it’s relapse, because Spineshank is returning this year for the Louder Than Life festival.

The announcement came from Louder Than Life yesterday as Spineshank became the latest band rolled out on their social media. The festival commented:

“Reuniting after 13 Years to perform at [Louder Than Life Festival] 2025, we are honored to bring back SPINESHANK to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of The Height Of Callousness! A Nu Metal force in the early 2000s, the Grammy-nominated band carved their name into heavy music history with era-defining tracks like ‘New Disease’, ‘Synthetic’, and ‘Smothered.’ Returning to the stage for the first time since 2012, these [Ozzfest] alumni are breaking their years of silence with a thunderous comeback here in Louisville!

“This year our mission is to build a fresh, must-see lineup that you cannot experience anywhere else. All 150+ slots are being carefully selected to bring you a lineup chock full of Festival Debuts, Reunions, Special Performances, Album Anniversaries…and even a Farewell. Experience it all this September 18th-21st only at [Louder Than Life Festival].”

That was followed by Spineshank themselves commenting from their official Instagram account, which they only started on Instagram this month, saying:

“We’re back! Can’t wait to see you all!!!!!!!”

Louder Than Life festival takes place from September 18-21 in Louisville, Kentucky and is announcing a new artist every day. The complete list of artists announced so far is listed below:
