You Can Buy GWAR’s Undead Elvis, But You Only If You’re Not a Broke Ass Bohab

0

A piece of GWAR history is up for grabs but it ain’t gonna be cheap. That’s what happens when you have Sleazy P. Martini running the sale after all.

The band and our Lords and Masters have placed their Undead Elvis prop up for auction on their website. The thing was used during their 1999 GWARMageddon tour and as you can see in the photo, the King of Rock has seen some better days. At least it looks like he died by evisceration in each GWAR show and not by shitting himself to death…

According to GWAR, the suit was sculpted by Don Drakulich and Matt Maguire and the gut was done by Bob Gorman. The suit is also apparently very heavy, so shipping is going to be a bitch.

As it stands, the whole suit, mask, and gut with removable innards is available for the low, low cost of $12,000. It only took four bidders to bring it up to that price and the starting bid was $800, which makes me think someone fucked up and added another zero by accident.

Still, if you’ve got the cash and don’t mind dropping five figures for a 27-year-old prop, then who am I to stop you from going to the page and bidding on it?

If you’d like to check out all the new props they’ve got for their live show, you can catch GWAR with Static-X on their upcoming ‘Machines vs. Monsters’ tour. The dates are listed below.
