SeeYouSpaceCowboy Back Off of Controversial Tour
We may not know the status of popular hardcore band SeeYouSpaceCowboy after vocalist Connie Sgarbossa seemingly quit, but we do know they won’t be touring with the Dance Gavin Dance, so that’s some news at least. Taking their place on the tour will be Ocean Grove.
As you may recall, the band’s status on the tour was in question for some time now, as Sgarbossa revealed via social media that she was unhappy with the fact that SeeYouSpaceCowboy was going to be sharing a stage with Dance Gavin Dance. Her unease over that situation stemmed from the fact that Dance Gavin Dance’s former vocalist Tilian Pearson was accused of sexual assault.
This wasn’t the first time concerns over a tour mate caused SeeYouSpaceCowboy to alter a tour’s lineup. Last year, they kicked Roman Candle off their run of dates because their former bassist Nico Borgia had been accused of sexual assault and domestic abuse.
As it stands, it looks like SeeYouSpaceCowboy are at least going on a hiatus, though nothing’s been made official just yet. As a result, their spot on the tour has been taken by Ocean Grove. In their announcement on social media, The Devil Wears Prada revealed the lineup change.
