Randy Blythe Goes Off On “Pure and Unadulterated Thoroughbred Prick” Elon Musk
Is Elon Musk a Nazi? I’m sure our legal department would prefer it if I didn’t call him one. But whether or not he is one, one thing’s for sure: he made a Nazi salute. He did it twice following Trump’s inauguration. I’m not going along with other news outlets that are calling it a “one-armed gesture” or something else inane like that. Some people are trying to argue that it was a Roman salute, which you’re welcome to do because that’s not better; the Roman salute is also a symbol of fascism. But I’m calling it what it was: a Nazi salute. You know it’s a Nazi salute, I know it’s a Nazi salute, Nazis are celebrating that it was a Nazi salute, and Musk certainly knew that he was making a Nazi salute. And one other person who definitely recognized it as a Nazi salute was Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe.
Yesterday, Blythe took to Instagram Stories yesterday to blast Tesla and Twitter CEO Elon Musk for his Nazi salute, and he didn’t hold back. He posted a video of the salute alongside Napalm Death’s cover of the Dead Kennedys’ “Nazi Punks Fuck Off” with the following caption:
“It’s taken me a couple of days to wrap my head around this one. I’ve tried to consider every angle. Maybe he’s a Nazi? Maybe he’s just trolling? Maybe he’s just so socially awkward he can’t control himself? WHO KNOWS? The motherfucker is weird. But one thing is blatantly obvious-he’s a FUCKING ASSHOLE.
“Does Elon Musk have Asperger’s? Oh, I definitely believe so. That doesn’t mean he’s not a COMPLETE ASSHOLE- the two are not mutually exclusive, by the way. For fuck’s sake, he named his son ‘X Æ A-Xii’- who would do that to a child other than a pure and unadulterated thoroughbred PRICK?
“I know a few people with autism- not a single one of them has ever REMOTELY reminded me of Hitler. Even if it WAS an autism-induced mistake, he refuses to cop to it, and that tells us everything we need to know. Because, you see, that’s what people with correctly calibrated moral compasses do- they admit their mistakes.
“Supposedly Musk may become an actual government employee at some point- that means we the people will be paying his salary (not that he needs it.) So as a tax paying citizen of the United States, I have a request for the 47th-President Trump, please put your KETAMINE-FUELED PET ROCKET MONKEY back in his cage so he can do things he’s suited for- obviously appearing in public is not one of them.

Blythe makes a few good points. Autism is certainly no excuse, and to claim that’s the reason he made the salute is an insult to all autistics. And he’s certainly right in his assessment of Musk: Musk is an asshole. And I think all of us at MetalSucks agree with the last three words, at the very least: FUCK. ALL. NAZIS.
