Slipknot, Five Finger Death Punch, Knocked Loose, and More Announced for Inkcarceration 2025
The folks behind the annual Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival revealed the full lineup for this year’s festivities and needless to say, that shit is stacked. From Slipknot to Five Finger Death Punch to some band fronted by a sentient piece of shit, the headliners are sure to get people excited.
All told, nearly 70 bands will perform across three stages from July 18 to July 20 at Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio. Slipknot’s Shawn “Clown” Crahan said this year’s festival simply had to be one of the few spots that they’d be playing this year.
“Slipknot is playing very few shows in the U.S. this year, so this will be special. It will be good to be back with our friends, family, and culture at the Inkcarceration Music & Tattoo Festival. Stay safe! Stay (sic)!”
Other acts included in this year’s festival include Knocked Loose, Beartooth, Marilyn Manson, Slaughter to Prevail, Three Days Grace, and Lamb of God. The festival will also feature rare live performances from Acid Bath and Crossfade, while reunion shows will take place for The Dillinger Escape Plan, Chiodos, Dry Kill Logic, and Snot.
Along with the bands, organizers revealed that the festival will be much bigger this time around, meaning more space, better views, and more shade to deal with the hot summer weather. Festival goers will still be able to get tattooed at the on-site tattoo convention hosted inside the actual prison. Self-guided tours of the penitentiary will also be on offer.
Dan Janssen, co-founder and GM of Inkcarceration, said a lot of work went into improving the yearly event.
“The fan experience at Inkcarceration is the top priority every year. We did a lot of work on the infrastructure after last year’s event, such as adding space, more shade and a larger viewing area, an expansion that was imperative as this festival continues to grow. We could not be more excited to unveil it to the fans in 2025.”
