Saliva to Release “Reimagined” Version of 2023 Album Revelation

0

Saliva announced a deluxe album recently. That’s it. That’s pretty much the whole story. The end.

Oh, I guess I have to keep writing because they want to make it sound fancier than that. Saliva announced a sort of new album called Revelation: Retold which is a new version of their 2023 album Revelation with some extra songs added in. That’s the definition of a deluxe album, but they want us to think of this as a “reimagining” of the album. Maybe reimagine how words work because it’s a deluxe album.

Here’s what the band’s vocalist Bobby Amaru had to say about it in a statement reported on by Metal Injection:

“We received an incredible amount of support and positive feedback from critics and fans alike at radio with Revelation in 2023, with the singles ‘High On Me’ and ‘Crows’ both breaking into the Top 20.

“That being said, while working on that album, we wrote a lot more music that resonated with its sound and theme but didn’t make the final cut. Revelation: Retold is exactly what the name implies — a reimagining of our 2023 release Revelation. It features music from the original album alongside contributions from several guest artists and some brand-new songs.”
