Washington-based deathcore outfit Enterprise Earth are back with some new tunes and if you’re excited to hear ’em, good news — you won’t have to wait too long. The band announced earlier today that they’ll be dropping a new EP titled Descent Into Madness on January 30.

Featuring six new tracks, the EP will follow a narrative set out by vocalist Travis Worland.

“My vision began with a narration of the overarching concept to my bandmates, and it only felt right to start this journey the same way. ‘The Descent’ is a kind of overture for the EP and sets the scene for the following Hell to come.”

In addition to the EP’s announcement, the band released the first track “I. The Descent” along with an accompanying music video. The track itself feels hectic and urgent, with panic-filled riffs and crushing rhythms driving the chaotic nature of the track until shit inevitably hits the slow, heavy breakdown.

The band said they were driven to take that approach after hearing Worland’s story.

“We set out to accomplish one goal with this release, and we feel that we have achieved it. We envisioned a darkness, a spellbound episode through the suffering journey to insanity. Let loose your grasp, we begin the Descent Into Madness.”

You can check the track and video out for yourself below.

Descent Into Madness will be released at the end of the month, but you can preorder your copy today.
