With Blood Comes Cleansing to Release First Album in 17 Years
I’m gonna be honest—I don’t typically think about Christian metal bands, even though quite a few of them are really fuckin good. That’s how I feel about the God-fearing deathcore band With Blood Comes Cleansing, whose worship came by way of fairly brutal sweeps and breakdowns. They’ve been inactive since I was basically in high school (Ugh, I know), with Horror coming out on Victory Records back in 2008. Despite hibernating for almost two whole ass decades, they’ve just announced plans to release new music, and I’m pretty here for it.
It’ll be a self-titled effort that’ll come to on Valentine’s Day, because they let Cupid’s arrow shoot us in the booty cheek of our ears. Visually, they let Cory Swope take on the album artwork, and he definitely understood the assignment. Here’s what the band had to say about it all:
“We cannot be more excited to finally share with you all that we will be releasing our first album since ‘Horror’ in 2008! Our self titled album ‘With Blood Comes Cleansing’ will be available streaming everywhere February 14th, 2025!
