With the new year now underway, it’s the perfect time to look back on the annals of heavy metal history and see what came before. A quarter of a century ago, the world had just gotten over its Y2K fears. The economy was good, boy bands and emo was blowing up the radio, and the Osbournes were regular mainstays on our television screens.
