Texas Brewery Launches Limp Bizkit Themed Beer Called Fred Thirst

0

Good news ladies, fellas, and people who don’t give a fuck, Texas brewery Celestial Beerworks is rollin’ out a new Fred Durst-themed beer so you can finally have something to drink at your next Limp Bizkit-themed parties besides hot dog flavored water. The new beer is an IPA called Fred Thirst, which sounds like Fred Durst’s porn alter ego. The IPA is not officially licensed by Durst or Limp Bizkit, however, so Durst will see about as much money from this beer as he’s received from Universal Music Group.

The can says that the beer is “hopped with citra and mosaic,” which are words I had to look up on Wikipedia. Apparently those are different types of hops developed by Hops Breeding Company. Citra gives off a grapefruit and tropical fruit flavor while mosaic adds fruity and floral elements to the beer’s aroma. Of course, unless you’re some sort of trained beer expert, it’s probably just going to taste like any other IPA. It’s also 7% ABV, which is fairly average for a beer, so don’t expect this to get you too fucked up.

The beer launched in Texas and, while there’s a delivery option on the brewery’s website, they don’t deliver everywhere. So you might have to venture down to Texas and really take a look around at local liquor stores near Celestial Beerworks to find it. Or you can stop into their official taproom located in Dallas, Texas. Of course, that means venturing into the state of Texas for a beer. You could always just buy a regular IPA and sit at home and drink it while you listen to Three Dollar Bill, Y’All on repeat and I’m pretty sure it would have the same effect.
