Sacred Reich is Headed to the Studio to Record Their Next Album

Remember how Arizona thrash metal outfit Sacred Reich announced that they’d be heading into the studio in April 2024 to record their follow up to 2019’s Awakening? Do you also remember how that announcement was a year after they said they’d do the same in 2023? Well, it’s looking like we’re stuck in a time loop because the band’s back out here saying they’re hitting the studio this year so they can finally drop the new album this coming August.

Now, I don’t bring up the past announcements to drag Sacred Reich — not at all! It’s all just to point out that we’ve been patiently waiting for the next release. The news came about after the band posted an update on their Facebook page with the following message to fans:

“Bring on 2025! We are headed into the studio to record a new record. We are planning for a late August release. We can’t wait for you to hear it.

“Lots of touring in the works with some killer bands. Looking forward to getting back out on the road in ‘25 & ‘26 after spending most of the last year working on new music.

“We hope you all have a killer New Years and we’ll see you on tour in 2025! Wishing everyone a happy and healthy new year filled with peace and love.”

Maybe they were just waiting for the perfect political climate to maximize the power behind their message or something, who knows? Either way, it’s exciting to know these guys might finally put out some new material after saying they’d be recording it for the last couple years.

As it stands, Sacred Reich only have three live dates lined up for 2025. You can find those dates below.
