Bruce Dickinson Says Iron Maiden Will Do “Stuff We’ve Never, Ever Done Before” at Next Tour
This past year’s been a pretty busy one for Iron Maiden and its frontman Bruce Dickinson. Having toured the world yet again and released his solo album The Mandrake Project, he’s had a lot on his plate. That being said, next year’s looking equally busy, as Iron Maiden announced earlier this year that they’ll be touring the world yet again in the ‘Run For Your Lives’ world tour, set to celebrate 50 years of Iron Maiden.
With the new year now upon us, Dickinson released a video message to fans (as transcribed by Blabbermouth), explaining exactly what they should expect with the coming of 2025 — and how it’s going to be so much more than the last 12 months.
“Hello folks. This is my tour pass for 2024. That’ll get me anywhere in 2024, but I don’t need that anymore now because 2025 is gonna be something special. Not just because of the tour pass. Honestly, we are pushing the boat out with the tour. Not that I need to tell anybody, ’cause basically the tour is sold out already. So for those of you who have bought tickets, which is like all of you, it’s gonna be really, really cool. I’m really looking forward to it. We’re gonna be doing stuff we’ve never, ever done before, and it’ll be a setlist for the ages. So, I’ll see you there. And it’s not gonna stop in 2025. It’s gonna roll into 2026 ’cause there’s parts of the world that we need to get to that we can’t get to in 2025. So there you go.”
When they announced next year’s run of dates, the band said they would be giving fans “a spectacular and elaborate new show” to celebrate 50 years as a band. The tour will kick off in Hungary this coming May and will come to a close in Germany in July 2025. The full list of tour dates can be found below.
