Dark Angel to Debut New Material for the First Time Since 1991

You better hope you can make your way out to WeHo next month. For all of our non-Southern Californian readers, WeHo is what we call West Hollywood, and it houses quite the legendary venue—Whisky a Go Go. Dark Angel, who has not released even the tiniest taste of new music since 1991’s Time Does Not Heal, is going to debut new material at their upcoming performance there on January 29, 2025.

I love the air of mystery to this whole thing—Dark Angel hasn’t given any confirmation of when or IF studio versions of whatever the new material is will be released. Basically, if you’re not there you’re shit out of luck. At least, for the time being. Also, this is the first drop of new music to happen without the band’s founding guitarist Jim Durkin, who sadly passed away last year.
