Corpse Pile Drop Christmas Covers EP ‘Holly Jolly Hardgore’
I’m not a Christmas kind of person, but this is the kind of shit that will change my mind. Deathcore/murkcore/slamcore band Corpse Pile just released an EP of Christmas cover songs, which they aptly titled Holly Jolly Hardgore. You can listen to it below.
The EP, which barely comes in with a five-minute runtime, features hella holly heavy renditions of “Jingle Bells,” “Carol of the Bells,” and “Holly Jolly Christmas.” It closes out with a track called “In the Hall of FYL,” which might be a nod to “Deck the Halls”…?
Corpse Pile released their other EP Hardgore Deathmetal earlier this year on January 26, which features some of their demos along with some of their 2021 split with Snuffed on Sight called Tales from the Gutter.
