Riot Fest Organizers Announce Dates for Next Year’s 20th Anniversary Event

There’s a lot to look forward to in 2025, but for the folks behind Riot Fest, next year is particularly important. That’s because 2025 marks the 20th anniversary for the annual event.

According to a social media post on the fest’s official page, Riot Fest 2025 will take place from September 19 to September 21 over at Chicago’s Douglass Park. You may recall that last year had a bit of a kerfuffle going on with its location, so hopefully there won’t be any problems with that this coming year.

Organizers said that tickets are now available on the fest’s website, so if you’re okay with buying tickets to a festival you have no idea who’s playing at, the option is now available to you. Band announcements should be coming soon, but in the meantime riddles have been posted on on RiotFest’s Instagram page that should give fans a hint as to who’s playing.

The first clue reads: “You can’t spell the word Riot without a trio or two… or three.” As for the second clue, that reads: “Alhough we love the Riot bands with all our will, sometimes a reunion or two is what fits the bill.”

Well, we’ll have to wait and see once organizers make their announcements official. Until then, you can grab your tickets today.
