New Nightwish Documentary Offers a Behind the Scenes Look at the Creation of Yesterwynde
This past September, Nightwish released their latest album Yesterwynde. Leading up to that release, the band had been giving fans little glimpses here and there regarding the album’s creation, but earlier today, they dropped the full 45-minute documentary of the creation of Yesterwynde.
Spanning the entire process from demo playbacks in hotel rooms to Floor Jansen’s vocal tracking at her home studio and everything else, the documentary gives fans a look into how the band worked on their latest release.
Speaking of the documentary, Nightwish multi-instrumentalist Troy Donockley offered a bit of a cryptic message.
“Yesterwynde is full of secrets, but, if the stars are aligned, you may find some answers within…”
So deep. Much dark. Woooooooooowwwwwww.
Still, it’s cool the band dropped something like this right around the time that everyone’s taking a step back from work. It gives their fans another thing to watch during their downtime and gives people a better idea about what it takes to make a Nightwish album.
