Butcher Babies and Ded Join Controversial Tour with Attila and Dealer
The “America’s Reject Tour” is the tour that refuses to die when, frankly, it probably should. For those who need a recap, the tour, which was originally set to feature Attila, Dealer, Oceano, and Nathan James came under fire over the fact that two members of Attila including frontman Chris Fronzak as well as Dealer frontman Aidan Holmes have all been accused of sexual misconduct in the past. The controversy kind of tanked Oceano, who dropped off the tour which was followed by vocalist Adam Warren exiting the band. Now, two bands have been announced as the replacements for Oceano and, quite frankly, they’re not even the types of bands I expected to see jumping on this tour.
Groove metal outfit Butcher Babies and nu-metallers Ded were announced yesterday to be joining the largely metalcore and deathcore-centered tour. I guess that’s not the biggest leap in the world, but those bands are a little outside of the realm of who I was imagining jumping on this tour. The booking of Butcher Babies almost feels like the bands on the tour are trying to prove that there’s actually a woman willing to be around Fronzak and Holmes.
The tour kicks off in March 2025, so here’s the tour dates so you know which cities to steer clear of to avoid this trainwreck of a tour:
