GWAR and Static-X to Embark on ‘Machines vs. Monsters Tour’ Next Year
Hark, fellow lowly humans! Our lords and masters in GWAR have deemed us worthy enough to give us ample warning of their impending sacking of our lands with today’s announcement of the ‘Machines vs. Monsters Tour’. Alongside their ramapge will be industrial metal outfit Static-X, along with Dope and A Killer’s Confession.
The tour will be in celebration of GWAR’s 40 years of destruction on Earth. Everything will start on May 24 in Albuquerque, New Mexico and will eventually come to a close on June 18 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Along the way, they’ll crush skulls and pulverize asses in a litany of U.S. locales.
Speaking of the impending doom we all feel, GWAR vocalist Bl0thR the Berserker said the following:
“GWAR have been rewriting the rules of live music for 40 years. We just keep getting sicker and sicker, and we will NOT die! We can’t, we’re freaking immortal, and this anniversary tour is some of the sickest stuff we’ve ever come up with! Cum see it. You’re gonna shit.”
Pre-sales for the tickets are ongoing at this moment, with two VIP packages available. The general public will get a crack at the tickets this Friday, December 20 at 10 a.m. local time.
