Cold World, Trapped Under Ice, Terror, and More to Headline United Blood Fest 2025
The last time Virginia-based hardcore festival United Blood was actually held was in 2019. Then in January of 2020 they announced a killer new lineup for the 2020 festival with Converge, Cold World, Mindforce, Drain, and a whole slew of other great bands scheduled to play. Unfortunately, that whole lineup had to be scrapped after the pandemic hit, the whole world shut down, the Trump administration mishandled everything, and the whole damn nightmare ended up taking significantly longer than it really needed to. No matter how hardcore you think you are, COVID was far more hardcore. The festival has been on hold since then but, now that we’ve slowly gotten society back on its feet, it’s high time to start rocking out again, with United Blood returning for 2025 after a six-year absence.
Yesterday, United Blood finally announced the lineup for their big comeback festival to be held April 11-12 at The Canal Club in Richmond, Virginia. Headliners for this year’s festival will be Cold World, Trapped Under Ice, E-Town Concrete, No Warning, and Terror. But the rest of the lineup is no slouch either, with Angel Du$t, Bad Beat, Mindforce, and a whole lot more featured farther down the bill. Posting the lineup on Instagram, the organizers wrote:
“The ‘last’ UB was supposed to be in 2020, but due to the state of the world that never happened. There isn’t a world where we wanted UB to just burn out like that so this is where UB 2025 comes in. We wanted to make sure this iteration truly felt like a traditional United Blood and I think we hit that mark.
“We will be doing discounted* tickets at Vinyl Conflict this upcoming Thursday from 4 PM – 7 PM
“Whatever is leftover will be made available online via the Canal Club on Friday at noon
“Thanks to all the bands who were down with playing this year. We’re excited and we hope you all are too
