Randy Blythe Expands His Spoken-Word Book Tour for Just Beyond The Light

0

With his second book Just Beyond The Light: Making Peace With The Wars Inside Our Head coming out this coming February, Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe is naturally looking to get it in front of as many people as possible. To that end, he announced a pretty brief book tour last week, but earlier today, he expanded on those initial plans by announcing even more dates across the U.S.

As we previously reported, the tour is being billed as a sort of “evening with” event, where Blythe will host a spoken-word performance, followed by a Q&A from fans in attendance. Following the show, each attendee will receive a copy of Blythe’s new book, with each getting an opportunity to have it signed by the man himself.

“I’m stoked to hit the road in support of my new book, ‘Just Beyond The Light’. This will be my first solo tour, and without a band behind me, what can people expect? Well, a little bit of book talk… and a bunch of insane stories from my whacked-out life, obviously. I’ll also be answering some questions and signing stuff after. See ya there, ladies & gents!”

Due out on Febraury 18 via Grand Central Publishing (GCP), Just Beyond The Light: Making Peace With The Wars Inside Our Head has been described by Blythe as a “tight, concise roadmap of how I have attempted to maintain what I believe to be a proper perspective in life, even during difficult times.” This new book marks Blythe’s second literary release following Dark Days: A Memoir, which detailed the drama surrounding a fatal accident at a Lamb of God show in the Czech Republic for which Blythe was arrested, brought to trial, and eventually acquitted.

Tickets for the newly announced dates will go on sale this Friday, December 13 at noon local time. For more information, be sure to head over to Randy Blythe’s website. You can find the full list of dates below.
