No Cure Share “Hang Me From the Bible Belt” Music Video with Debut EP Release: Watch

We were pretty fuckin stoked to see that some good shit was happening for Birmingham, Alabama straight-edge hardcore band No Cure. They released their debut EP I Hope I Die Here today (December 6), shortly after being signed to SharpTone Records. Along with it, they’ve shared a new single and music video for one of the best named songs I have ever heard of, “Hang Me From the Bible Belt.” Check out the video below.

I mention the “good shit” part of what’s going on with No Cure since they’re still reeling from when vocalist Blaythe Steuer and bassist Jake Murnane were stabbed back in September. The band dropped benefit tees, of which you can still purchase here.

When No Cure initially made the EP announcement, they also shared another single “Don’t Need Your Help,” which featured Jesse Clark of the band Wielded Steel and Nick Chance from Beautiful Child of God.

Alongside the EP announcement, the band put out a new single called “Don’t Need Your Help,” which features guest appearances from Jesse Clark of the band Wielded Steel and Nick Chance from Beautiful Child of God. Steuer said this of that track:

“‘Don’t Need Your Help’ is about my touring experience throughout the country, and learning that many people still view the Southeast through a lens of negativity. The meaning behind the song is broad, in the sense that it certainly acknowledges the painful past of the region. But it also makes clear that it doesn’t help anyone to continue shitting on the current people here that only want to make it a better place for everyone.”
