Body Count Cover Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon: Watch

I was pretty excited to see that Body Count got a slot in the late-night TV sector. It gets us one step closer to metal entirely taking it over, but let’s take it one step at a time. They were the guest performers on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday, December 4, and chose to perform their cover of Pink Floyd’s “Comfortably Numb.” You can watch it below.

Their cover—you guessed it—is one of the milder tracks in the band’s discography. You can even tell how heartfelt T and co. were feeling about it by their more delicate stances and facial expressions. That’s probably not how anyone in the audience expected, but I don’t think they had a problem with it. Even if they did, T would probably get on their asses about it anyway.

Body Count’s cover of the Pink Floyd classic is on their new album Merciless, which came out November 22.
