Randy Blythe Announces Book Tour for Just Beyond the Light

0

Noted author and Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe seems primarily focused on his upcoming book Just Beyond The Light: Making Peace With The Wars Inside Our Head, which sounds like metal’s answer to Eat Pray Love. The new book is due out on Hachette Books on February 18 and, apparently, Blythe is setting off to promote the book immediately afterwards.

In a post on Blythe’s Facebook account, he announced his upcoming book tour which will consist of three dates: one in Philadelphia, one in Boston, and one in Joliet, IL. In the caption of the social media post, Blythe wrote:

“Excited to announce that I’ll be doing a few ‘Just Beyond The Light’ spoken word + Q&A events in Philadelphia, Boston and Chicago. Each ticket will include a copy of my new book ‘Just Beyond The Light’ and the event will conclude with a book signing.”

This new book marks Blythe’s second book following Dark Days: A Memoir which detailed the drama surrounding a fatal accident at a Lamb of God show in the Czech Republic for which Blythe was arrested, brought to trial, and eventually acquitted. Blythe has stated that he hopes for it to be a ”tight, concise roadmap of how I have attempted to maintain what I believe to be a proper perspective in life, even during difficult times.”

Executive editor Ben Schafer at Grand Central Publishing, a division of Hachette Books, said:

“In chaotic times, Randy’s outlook is a bulwark against despair. His perspective is hard-earned, and ‘Just Beyond the Light’ reminds us that we can all work daily to achieve balance in our lives and strive to implement it in the world.”

Hopefully the book proves to be as inspirational as advertised. Check out the full list of book tour dates below:
