Fred Durst Tries Actual Hot Dog Flavored Water (And Hates It)

0

Limp Bizkit’s 2000 album Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water has one of the worst album names of all time. For all the times when the band tried to insist that the name was some inside joke that the public wouldn’t get, the public kind of collectively responded, “No, we got it, it’s just gross.” But what’s potentially even more gross is that Fred Durst was forced to try actual hot dog flavored water and, unsurprisingly, wasn’t a fan.

Recently, Durst made an appearance on Hot Ones Versus. Most people are familiar with the hit web series Hot Ones where Sean Evans interviews celebrities while they eat increasingly spicy chicken wings. On Hot Ones Versus, two celebrities square off against each other asking each other difficult and uncomfortable questions or offering up dares and the guests can only avoid a question or dare by choosing to eat a hot wing instead.

Durst was pitted against comedian and Saturday Night Live alumnus Kyle Mooney who recently directed Durst in the upcoming horror comedy Y2K, and the pair had some really tough questions between them. Durst, for example, chose the hot wing when asked to rank the artists he’s had the hottest feuds with: Slipknot, Eminem, Creed, and Insane Clown Posse. But, when challenged to try hot dog flavored water, the Limp Bizkit frontman chose to bite the bullet instead and tried it. His reaction was…not positive.

After trying the hot dog flavored water that was served up in a martini glass with a side of actual starfish shaped chocolates, Durst announces:

This is definitely…terrible.

Durst found himself needing a wing anyway to wash down the horrible flavor of the weird concoction. Even Mooney said he nearly vomited from just smelling the drink. Maybe Limp Bizkit should name their next album Champagne and Caviar to avoid this sort of thing in the future. At least nobody made him try an actual limp biscuit.

You can check out the entire episode of Hot One Versus below because it’s a really funny episode to watch.
